Hello! My name is Venus Seepersaud, and I am a dedicated teacher based in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana, specifically at Bank Demerara 1349 Onderneeming West. Growing up surrounded by the rich cultural heritage of Guyana, I have always been passionate about sharing the unique stories and traditions of our diverse community with my students. From the vibrant rhythms of our local music to the tantalizing flavors of curry chicken and aloo that perfectly complement dhalpuri, I believe that every element of our culture adds depth to our learning experiences.
As part of a proud Caribbean nation, I often remind my students of our roots that trace back to the Carib Indians who journeyed through our lands.
