Greetings! I’m Verlyn Warren, a proud farmer from the vibrant community of Karawab in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Nestled near the rich waters of the Pomeroon River, my life revolves around nurturing the land that has sustained my family for generations. As I cultivate everything from cassava to plantains, I carry forward the agricultural traditions that have long been a cornerstone of Guyanese culture. The flavors of our local cuisine, such as pepper pot and metemgee, infuse my work with a deep sense of identity and connection to my roots.
Living in Guyana, I’ve witnessed the beauty of our diverse tapestry firsthand.
