My life revolves around the fertile lands that my family has cultivated for generations. Here in the heart of the Pomeroon, we grow a variety of crops that not only nourish our community but also maintain our rich agricultural heritage. As a farmer, I strive to connect the traditional practices passed down from my ancestors with modern techniques, ensuring that our beloved land continues to thrive.
Growing up in Guyana, I’ve been deeply influenced by the vibrant culture that surrounds me. The sounds of the river, the scents of ripe cassava and pepperpot, and the warmth of our community gatherings are what make this place special. I often reflect on my childhood memories spent on the banks of the River Borada, where we would celebrate festivals with delicious local dishes and the company of family and friends. It’s these experiences that inspire me to share my journey through vlogging, a passion that was ignited by the encouragement of my dad, Chris. 😊
