Welcome! My name is Vickram Kanhai, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast my home. Nestled along the tranquil banks of the Pomeroon River, this vibrant region is known for its rich cultural heritage and stunning natural beauty. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and the warm smiles of my fellow Guyanese, I have developed a deep appreciation for the diverse traditions that make our country unique, from the delicious flavors of our local cuisine—think pepperpot and roti—to the breathtaking sights like the majestic Kaieteur Falls.
As a resident of this beautiful land, I cherish the strong ties within our community, especially the Indo-Caribbean population that has flourished here since the British brought our ancestors from India.
