Welcome! I’m Vicky Persaud, a proud resident of Pomeroon in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Nestled along the scenic Pomeroon River, my home is surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant wildlife, including the enchanting manatees that we often see swimming by. With a deep appreciation for the rich cultural heritage of our land, I enjoy sharing the flavors of our local cuisine, from pepperpot to roti, and inviting friends to experience the warmth of our hospitality.
Growing up in Guyana, I've been fortunate to witness the incredible diversity and resilience of our people. Whether it's enjoying a lively cricket match or taking part in our festive Mashramani celebrations, I cherish the connections that bind us as a community. For those in the diaspora, I understand the longing for home, and I hope to bridge that gap by showcasing the beauty of our culture and the warmth of our people.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
