Greetings! My name is Wazeem Karoon, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast my home. Living at 36 Golden Fleece Estate in Pomeroon-Supenaam, I embrace the rich culture and heritage of Guyana, where our diverse backgrounds come together to create a vibrant community. From the lush landscapes along the Essequibo River to the warmth of our local gatherings, there’s a unique beauty in our way of life that I cherish deeply.
As a passionate resident of this beautiful region, I enjoy sharing my love for local cuisine, especially the flavors of Dhal Puri whenever I can. Trust me, no one can deny that Dhal Puri is best enjoyed with some good meat! I see it as a way to connect with both my fellow Guyanese and friends in the diaspora. Whether it's a hearty meal or a chat about our favorite spots like the Litany River, each experience fuels my desire to celebrate our roots and maintain those ties, even from afar.
