Greetings! I’m Wilfred Fidel, a proud farmer from Creek Upper Pom, nestled in the lush Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My life revolves around the rhythms of the land, where I cultivate an array of crops that reflect the rich agricultural heritage of our nation. Growing up surrounded by the sounds of the Pomeroon River and the vibrant flora, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the natural beauty and cultural diversity that make Guyana truly unique.
As someone who has traveled the length and breadth of our beautiful country, from the bustling markets of Georgetown to the serene banks of the Essequibo, I’ve witnessed both the charm and the challenges we face. Like many Guyanese, I take pride in our culinary delights, especially the delicious pepper pot and savory cassava bread that connect us to our roots.
