Greetings! My name is Caeas Williams, and I proudly call Baramita in the Barima-Waini region of Guyana my home. As a miner, I spend my days working in the lush landscapes of our country's vast interior, connecting with the land in ways that are both challenging and deeply rewarding. It’s not uncommon to share a meal of metemgee with family and friends while sharing stories from the goldfields to the coast, reminding us that no matter where we roam, we carry a piece of Guyana within us.
