Greetings! My name is Wilson Edwards, and I proudly hail from the vibrant landscapes of East Bank Essequibo, specifically along the 345 Main Road East. As a miner, I spend my days connecting with the rich, bountiful earth that sustains our communities and livelihoods. Growing up amid the lush greenery and diverse cultures of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I've developed a deep appreciation for our local traditions, foods, and the warmth of our people. Whether it’s sharing a plate of pepperpot during the holidays or celebrating the New Year with neighbors, the sense of community is what truly defines our identity. Even though many of us have ventured abroad, like my good English brothers and sisters, we carry a piece of Guyana with us wherever we go.
