Hello! My name is Yolanda Rodriguez, and I proudly call Pomeroon, in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, my home. Living in Guyana, I embrace the vibrant mix of cultures that make our nation unique—where flavors of curry meet the sweetness of cassava, and the sounds of chutney music fill the air. Our land is rich with natural beauty, from the lush rainforests to the serene rivers, and I often find myself exploring local gems like the Pomeroon River, which is not only a source of livelihood but also a place of reflection and connection to nature.
As a resident of Guyana, I have a deep appreciation for our community's spirit and resilience.
