Nestled among lush landscapes and the tranquil rivers that define our culture, Pomeroon is a place where the rich heritage of our diverse communities truly shines. From the mouthwatering flavors of pepperpot to the lively rhythms of chutney music, our daily lives are steeped in traditions that celebrate our unique blend of Indian, African, European, Chinese, and Indigenous influences.
As a resident of this beautiful region, I cherish the sense of community that unites us all. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
