Hello! I’m Andray Edwards, a proud farmer from River Fort Island in the Essequibo region of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the rich biodiversity of our lush landscapes, I’ve dedicated my life to cultivating the land and sharing the bounty of Guyana. My days are often spent in the fields, tending to crops that reflect the flavors of our culture, from cassava to eddoes, and I take great pride in contributing to the local economy and sustaining our traditions.
In my community, we cherish our heritage, and food plays a central role in bringing us together. I often reminisce about sharing a hearty plate of pepperpot with friends and family, or enjoying the sweet taste of a freshly made roti.
