Hello! I’m Anny Raywaram, a proud housewife residing on the beautiful Essequibo Coast at 45 School Street in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant cultures of Guyana, I have always cherished our rich heritage. From the bustling markets of Georgetown to the tranquil banks of the Essequibo River, the warmth and spirit of my homeland inspire me every day. I find joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it’s preparing a traditional meal of pepperpot for my family or sharing stories of our Amerindian ancestors, like the Taino and Kailago, with my children.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I take pride in connecting with fellow expatriates and celebrating our shared experiences. I often reminisce about the lovely women from our community and the diverse backgrounds that shape our identity. Events like the St. Monica River Mission get-togethers remind me of the importance of family and community, which are at the heart of our culture.
