Greetings! My name is Antonio Da Silva, and I proudly call Essequibo Mainstay Lake my home. Nestled in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region, my roots run deep in the rich cultural landscape of Guyana. As a dedicated labourer, I spend my days working hard to provide for my family and contribute to the vibrant community around me. In my free time, I enjoy connecting with my neighbors and sharing stories about our ancestors, many of whom journeyed from places like Trinidad and India, bringing along culinary traditions that make our local cuisine so deliciously diverse.
Having grown up in this picturesque area, I've developed a fondness for the natural beauty that surrounds us. From the serene waters of the Pomeroon River to the lush greenery that defines our landscape, every corner of Essequibo tells a story. I often reminisce about the flavors of home—whether it's a comforting bowl of curry seasoned with the famous LaLah Curry powder or a hearty meal of pepperpot, these dishes evoke memories of family gatherings and celebrations that bind us together.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
