Greetings! My name is Avinash Sahoy, and I proudly hail from the lively Essequibo Coast, specifically 19 Lima New Housing in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. As a fisherman, my days are spent on the serene waters, casting nets and gathering the freshest catch, from the sweet shrimp to the rich variety of fish that inhabit our bountiful rivers. There's nothing quite like the taste of fresh fish curry paired with a side of rice and peas—it's a culinary delight that embodies the essence of our local cuisine.
Living in a country with a rich cultural heritage, I cherish the vibrant traditions and communal spirit that define Guyana.
