Hello! I am Azaad Samad, a proud farmer residing in Delight, Essequibo Coast, right along the vibrant public road of Maria's. My roots run deep in Guyana, a country renowned for its lush landscapes, particularly the beautiful Pomeroon River and the stunning waterfalls that draw visitors from near and far. As a farmer, I am dedicated to cultivating the land and contributing to our agricultural heritage, which is a cornerstone of our economy and way of life.
Growing up in Guyana, I learned to appreciate the richness of our local cuisine, from the sweetness of guinep, often mistaken for candy by some, to the hearty dishes that reflect our diverse culture. My experiences here have shaped my understanding of community, and I take pride in sharing the story of our land with the diaspora. Many of us, like myself, have ventured abroad but maintain a strong connection to home, cherishing the warmth of our people and the beauty of our landscapes.
