Greetings! My name is Basantee Bridgemohan, and I proudly call the vibrant region of Regina Essequibo Coast home. Nestled along the picturesque Pomeroon River, my community is rich in culture and tradition, embodying the warmth and resilience of the Guyanese spirit. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and the sounds of nature, I cherish the simple yet profound moments spent with family, indulging in local delicacies like pepperpot and roti, and enjoying lively conversations with friends over a refreshing glass of mauby.
As a resident of this beautiful area, I deeply value the connections we share as Guyanese, whether it’s reminiscing about our roots or celebrating our contributions to CARICOM.
