Greetings! My name is Beesham Shew, and I proudly serve as a soldier stationed in the beautiful area of Lodge Essequibo Coast, nestled in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in a nation rich with culture, I carry the essence of Guyana wherever I go. Whether it's the vibrant colors of our festivals or the warmth of our community, I am deeply rooted in the traditions that make our homeland so unique.
As a Guyanese, the love for our local delicacies runs deep in my veins. From savoring a plate of curry with dhal puri and bread accompanied by peppapot to indulging in the sweetness of our famous black cake, I find joy in sharing our culinary heritage with others. There's nothing quite like the camaraderie that comes from gathering with friends and family over a meal, and I believe it’s this spirit that binds us together, no matter where we are in the world.
Though I may be far from home, my heart remains with Guyana. I take great pride in our nation's ongoing transformation and growth.
