Hello! I'm Bhagewattie Basso, a dedicated nurse residing in the vibrant community of Good Hope on the Essequibo Coast. Growing up in the lush Pomeroon-Supenaam region, I have always felt a deep connection to the rich natural beauty and cultural diversity of Guyana. Our land, with its rivers and forests, tells stories as old as time, and it’s a privilege to serve my community by promoting health and wellness while embracing our local traditions.
As a Guyanese who loves my heritage, I take pride in sharing the flavors of our cuisine, from the savory taste of pepperpot to the sweet delights of cassava pone.
