Hello! I’m Bibi Chandrika, a proud resident of Regina Essequibo Coast, nestled right along the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes of Guyana, I carry the essence of our vibrant culture in my heart. From the sweet aroma of pepperpot simmering on Christmas morning to the lively rhythms of kites flying during Phagwah, my roots are deeply intertwined with the traditions that define our unique identity.
Living in Guyana, I’ve often reflected on our rich heritage and the challenges we face. Though we have our share of struggles—like the concerns over governance and community well-being I’ve heard echoed by my fellow countrymen—I remain hopeful. Our resilience is palpable in the spirit of our people, from the bustling markets of Georgetown to the serene banks of the Essequibo River. The diaspora has shown us that no matter where we are in the world, our bond with Guyana is unbreakable, as we collectively strive for a better tomorrow.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
