Greetings! My name is Bibi Saleem, and I proudly hail from the vibrant Essequibo Coast, specifically the Johanna district in Pomeroon-Supenaam. As a dedicated teacher, I strive to nurture the minds of our youth, instilling in them the values and knowledge that reflect our rich Guyanese heritage. My classroom serves as a community hub where we celebrate our culture, including our beloved dishes like roti and curry, and where we share stories of our ancestors who worked the sugar cane fields and fished the mighty Essequibo River.
