About BOBBY ANTHONY BOBB

About Bobby Bobb

Greetings from the vibrant shores of West Coast Demerara! My name is Bobby Bobb, and I proudly call 20 Sera Lodge Housing my home in the beautiful Essequibo Islands-West Demerara region. As an instructor, I am passionate about sharing knowledge and fostering a love for learning among my students, just as I cherish the rich cultural heritage of our beloved Guyana. From the lush landscapes to the rhythmic sounds of the river, I find inspiration in the life that thrives around me.

Growing up near the iconic Pomeroon River, I have a deep appreciation for the natural beauty and local flavors that our land offers. Whether it's enjoying a hearty plate of metemgee with salted fish, or gathering with family and friends for a lively cook-up at Hoobodie Settlement, my roots are firmly planted in the heart of Guyanese culture. I also take pride in the stories of our community, from the serene banks of River Kukurite Hill to the bustling spirit of Lower Pom alongside the Akawini.

Connecting with the Guyanese diaspora is an important part of my journey. I believe that no matter where we are in the world, our shared experiences and cherished memories—like those spent along the Cashew Pond in Karawab or the tranquil moments at Arasaro Island—keep us united. I invite you to join me as we celebrate our heritage, inspire each other, and continue to build bridges across borders.
