Hello! I’m Bridjlall Persaud, a proud farmer from the beautiful Essequibo Coast in Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana. My roots run deep in this lush land where the rivers flow and the rice fields stretch as far as the eye can see. Growing up here, I’ve been influenced by the rich Guyanese traditions that shape our community— from the lively sounds of chutney music at local celebrations to the mouthwatering aroma of pepperpot wafting through the air during Diwali. My experiences have also been enriched by the warm connections I share with the Guyanese diaspora worldwide, reminding me that no matter where we are, our hearts beat to the rhythm of home.
