Greetings! My name is Tameshwar Persaud, and I am proud to call Anna Regina, located in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana, my home. Having experienced the vibrant energy of Mashramani during the 2014 celebrations, I carry a piece of that festivity in my heart. The music, the colors, and the spirit of unity remind me of the strength of our community, both at home and in the diaspora. I often hear from friends abroad, who fondly recall the flavors of our cook-up rice and the warmth of our people, even from miles away. It's these connections that keep our culture alive, wherever we may be.
