Hello! My name is Calvin Moses, and I hail from the beautiful Essequibo Coast, specifically 87 Second Street in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. As a proud Guyanese, I enjoy the rich cultural heritage that defines our nation, from the vibrant markets to the breathtaking landscapes. I work as a labourer, and my days are filled with the hustle and bustle that connects me to my community. I often reminisce about the delicious food that fills our local kitchens; there's nothing quite like the aroma of a freshly made cook-up rice or the sweetness of ripe mangoes. I cherish the cultural connections we share, especially with our diaspora, who often express their love for our dishes. I remember when a friend visiting from New York mentioned how the lasagna at Plaisance Line Top made them want to hop on the next flight back to Guyana!
