Hello! I’m Camile Singh, a passionate teacher residing in the vibrant community of Bank Essequibo, located on 60 Front Street North in Pomeroon-Supenaam. My roots are deeply embedded in the rich culture and traditions of Guyana, where the lush landscapes and the mighty Pomeroon River have shaped not only our environment but our way of life. As a proud Guyanese, I often find myself reminiscing about our lively connections with the Caribbean, particularly our playful rivalries with our Trini neighbors. My experiences and interactions within our diaspora community have shown me how we share similarities with other cultures, while still holding on to our unique Guyanese identity—complete with a hint of that local flair!
