Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of our land, I have cultivated a deep love for the rich biodiversity of this area. From planting my own cassava and sugarcane to tending to the orchards filled with juicy mangoes and pineapples, farming isn't just my occupation; it's a way of life that connects me to my roots and my community.
As a Guyanese, I hold dear the traditions that have been passed down through generations. And even though I now live far from the bustling streets of Georgetown, I often hear stories from friends overseas, reminding me of our vibrant diaspora and the strong ties that bind us all together.
