Hello! My name is Christopher Ramchan, and I reside in the vibrant heart of Essequibo Coast, specifically in High Point Tapakuma, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich culture of Guyana, I take pride in my heritage and strive to celebrate it every day. From the serene banks of the Upper Pom River to the delicious flavors of local cuisine, including my favorite roti from Singh’s Roti Shop, my life here is a testament to the warmth and hospitality that Guyanese are known for.
As a proud Guyanese, I often reflect on the colorful experiences that shape our community. Whether it’s dissecting the symbolism of our national flag or engaging in lively discussions about our beloved guinep (or quenette, as they call it in Martinique), I love reconnecting with fellow Guyanese, both at home and abroad.
