Hello! My name is Rakesh Ramchan, and I proudly hail from the beautiful region of Regina Essequibo Coast, specifically at 48 Walton Hall Anna, in Pomeroon-Supenaam. As a dedicated rice farmer, I work hard to cultivate one of our country's staple foods, which brings joy and nourishment to families across Guyana and beyond. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich waters of Essequibo, I have developed a deep appreciation for our unique environment and the connections it fosters within our community.
Being Guyanese means embracing a vibrant culture that celebrates diversity in food, music, and traditions.
