Hello! My name is Christopher Baird, and I proudly call Pomeroon, nestled in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam, my home. As a pitman, I’ve dedicated my life to the rich traditions of our land. Growing up surrounded by the stunning Pomeroon River, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the lush landscapes and the vibrant culture that defines our beautiful region. Food plays an essential role in our lives, and I am passionate about sharing the authentic flavors of Guyana. I cherish the opportunity to connect with both locals and the Guyanese diaspora, especially during my annual visits to Florida, where I reminisce about the hearty meals and the camaraderie found in places like Plaisance and Westbury Lower.
