Hello! My name is Clement Paul, and I’m proud to call the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region my home. Located on Coast 49 Centenary Street, I work as a plumber, serving the community and ensuring our homes run smoothly. Growing up in Guyana, I’ve always appreciated the vibrant culture and the rich tapestry of traditions that make our country unique. From the bustling markets to the serene rivers like the Pomeroon, life here is a blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage.
One of my fondest memories is gathering with family and friends to enjoy our local dishes. Unlike the buffet-style meals I’ve seen in other places, we believe in the joy of freshly cooked food, whether it’s a delicious pepperpot for special occasions or a simple meal of rice and curry. Guyana is a melting pot, and I take pride in our Indian, African, and Indigenous influences that shape our culinary landscape. It's this shared love for food that strengthens our bonds and keeps our traditions alive.
As part of the Guyanese diaspora, I carry my culture with me wherever I go. I love sharing the beauty of our land and the warmth of our people with others. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
