Hello! My name is Clifton Charles, and I proudly call Essequibo Kaibari Mashabo home. As a dedicated labourer, I thrive in the vibrant heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam, where the lush landscape and rich culture shape my daily life. Guyana's diverse heritage is reflected in everything we do, from our incredible food to our community spirit, and I cherish the opportunity to contribute to it.
Growing up here, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our local delicacies. Whether it’s a plate of seasoned bora or a sweet treat from one of our famous food stalls, I believe Guyanese cuisine is truly world-class. I often reminisce about the beautiful days spent at Bartica, where the Essequibo River meets the excitement of the community. It’s the kind of place where laughter fills the air, and you can always count on a friend to share a meal with. I also enjoy connecting with fellow Guyanese in the diaspora who share stories about their experiences and culinary adventures, often bringing a taste of home wherever they go.
As I continue my journey as a labourer, I strive to remain connected to my roots, embracing the warmth of our culture and the strength of our community.
