Greetings! My name is Gregory Modeste, and I proudly call the Pomeroon region of Guyana my home. As a labourer, I immerse myself in the hard work that sustains my community. The Pomeroon River, with its lush greenery and the vibrant life it supports, is not just a landmark but a source of inspiration and connection. It’s a place where I’ve grown up surrounded by the aromas of local dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice, which truly reflect the melting pot of cultures found in our beautiful land.
