Welcome! I’m Cloyd Rodrigues, a dedicated pitman from Grant La Bonne Mere in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Rooted in our vibrant culture, I take pride in the rich heritage that defines our nation. Growing up surrounded by lush landscapes and the mighty Pomeroon River, I've developed a deep appreciation for the natural beauty and diverse wildlife our country has to offer. Whether it’s enjoying a plate of pepperpot during the holidays or sharing stories of our ancestors who endured as enslaved Africans, I cherish the connections that bind us all.
As a proud Guyanese, I’m passionate about showcasing the unique charm of our homeland, from the bustling markets of Georgetown to the serene beauty of the Rupununi. I often reminisce about the warmth and resilience of our people, as well as the delicious culinary traditions that have been passed down through generations. Nothing brings us together quite like a good cook-up rice or a hearty bowl of metemgee, and I love sharing these experiences with friends and family, both here and in the diaspora.
