Greetings! I’m Colin Cornelius, a proud Guyanese miner hailing from the vibrant Pomeroon region of Pomeroon-Supenaam. My roots run deep in this beautiful land, where the lush greenery meets the mighty rivers. Growing up here, I've developed a strong appreciation for our local culture, from the rich flavors of pepperpot and metemgee to the lively rhythms of our folk music. I find joy in sharing stories of the Pomeroon River and its surrounding landscapes, which are not just my home but also a part of our nation’s heart.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I often reflect on the unique identity we hold. While some may argue about our place in the Caribbean, I cherish the blend of our Indigenous, African, and Indian heritages that shapes our community.
