Greetings! My name is Marcian Ramdatt, and I proudly call the lush region of Pomeroon, Pomeroon-Supenaam, my home. As a miner, I spend my days immersed in the rich earth that gives life not only to our community but also to the vibrant culture of Guyana. Growing up here, I developed a deep appreciation for our local cuisine—though I must admit, not everyone is a fan of rat stew! 😂 With dishes like pepperpot and metemgee gracing our tables during festive gatherings, it's the flavors of home that keep our community close, especially during the holidays when we celebrate with music, laughter, and lots of food.
