Hi, I’m Dave Williams, a proud Guyanese logger located in Better, Pomeroon-Supenaam. My roots run deep in this vibrant land, where the Pom River flows and the luscious greenery tells stories of generations past. Growing up here, I’ve developed a profound appreciation for our local cuisine, especially the mouthwatering pepperpot and the sweet aroma of fresh cassava bread. Cooking together with family is a cherished tradition that connects us to our heritage and keeps our culture alive, no matter where life takes us.
Living in this beautiful region, I’m fortunate to explore the incredible natural landscape, from the serene Akawini Creek to the bustling markets filled with the flavors of our diverse communities.
