Hello! I’m Deleep Singh, a proud miner born and raised in the heart of Pomeroon, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant waterways of Guyana, I developed a deep appreciation for our local culture and community. Whether I’m sharing a plate of pepperpot with family or enjoying the rhythms of our talented DJs like Cashmoney Kevon, I carry the spirit of Guyana with me wherever I go.
As I navigate my life in Canada, I’ve been fortunate to connect with many fellow Guyanese. From reminiscing about our beloved River Grant to exploring the rich history of places like New Amsterdam, these connections remind me of home. I believe in the importance of our diaspora community, and I stand by the notion that we must work together to uplift and support the development of our beloved country, ensuring that the voices of our people are heard and valued.
In my role as a miner, I take pride in contributing to the resources of our land while honoring the traditions and values that define us as Guyanese.
