Greetings! My name is Denzil Goddett, and I proudly call the lush landscapes of Mission, Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. As a devoted Jetman, I have the privilege of connecting with communities far and wide, yet my heart remains anchored in the rich cultural heritage of Guyana. From the vibrant rhythms of our folk music to the aromatic spices that fill our kitchens, the essence of my homeland is always with me, no matter where I go.
Food is a significant part of our Guyanese identity. You’ll often find me indulging in a plate of duck curry or savoring some dhal puri, preferably dipped in a generous helping of gravy. Like many of us, I have strong preferences—split peas in my dhal? Not for me! Whether it's sharing a meal with family or enjoying the festivities during Christmas with traditional Pepperpot, I cherish the moments that bring us together over food. The warmth of our culture extends beyond our plates; it’s a bond that ties our diaspora to our roots.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
