Hello! I’m Noland Henry, a proud Guyanese and a dedicated jetman currently residing in the vibrant community of Mission, nestled in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up here, I’ve always been surrounded by the lush beauty of the Pomeroon River and the warm embrace of my fellow villagers. From the bustling markets filled with fresh fruits like golden apples and cashew nuts to the aroma of our local delicacies such as pepperpot and cook-up rice, my roots run deep in the rich culinary traditions of Guyana.
In my role as a jetman, I take great pride in connecting people and places, much like the river systems that flow through our homeland. Whether it's sharing stories of our culture with the diaspora or reminiscing about the unforgettable gatherings in River Two Friends Settlement, I carry the spirit of our community wherever I go. I believe that each interaction is an opportunity to celebrate our diverse heritage, from the rhythmic beats of our folk music to the vibrant colors of our local festivals.
