Growing up in Guyana, I have savored the unique flavors of our local cuisine—there's nothing quite like enjoying a plate of pepperpot with roti on a festive occasion. As a member of the diaspora, I love sharing our customs and traditional dishes with friends from other cultures, often introducing them to the joys of roti skin and the secrets to a perfect pepperpot.
