Hello! I’m Durmattite Isurdeen, a dedicated teacher residing in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam, at Dieren Essequibo Coast. Guyana, my beloved homeland, is a place where the lush green landscapes meet the vibrant cultures of our diverse communities. From the bustling streets of Georgetown to the rich heritage of Timerhi, my roots run deep in this beautiful country. I believe in fostering a love for learning that is as rich as our culinary traditions—whether it's savoring a bowl of callaloo, which is definitely not spinach, or enjoying a savory plate of pepperpot during the holidays, each meal is a celebration of our culture.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
