Hello! My name is Dwayne John, and I’m a proud mason living in the vibrant community of Henrietta on the Essequibo Coast. Here in Pomeroon-Supenaam, I draw inspiration from our rich Guyanese culture, whether I'm working on a new project or enjoying a bowl of pepper pot with family and friends. The Essequibo River, a cornerstone of our local landscape, reminds me daily of the beauty and resilience of our people, echoing the stories of those from the Pom River and beyond.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I appreciate the deep connections we maintain with fellow countrymen across the globe, especially in Florida and New York. We share a love for our unique traditions, whether it’s the sound of chutney music at a family gathering or reminiscing about the days spent fishing in Wakapau.
