Hello and welcome! I'm E Dhanwashrie Dasrat, a proud resident of Essequibo, specifically from Hyde Park on the East Bank of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of Guyana has deeply influenced who I am today. From the mouthwatering dishes of pepperpot and metemgee that fill our family gatherings to the rich history embodied by our beautiful landmarks like the Essequibo River, my roots run deep in this land of diversity and resilience.
As someone who cherishes the connections within our diaspora, I believe in celebrating the unique blend of cultures that make up our Guyanese identity.
