Hello! I’m Elbert Cornelius, a proud labourer from the beautiful Pomeroon region in Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana. My roots run deep in this vibrant area, known for its lush landscapes and the flowing Pomeroon River. Growing up here, I’ve always been surrounded by the rich flavors of our local cuisine, from the aromatic curry dishes to the sweet delights of fresh tropical fruits. The community is tight-knit, and we often gather to celebrate our heritage with music, dance, and, of course, sharing a hearty meal.
Throughout the years, I’ve found immense pride in my work and the contributions I make to my community. Whether it's helping at local farms or supporting neighbors with various tasks, I believe in the strength of our people. Many of my family members still reside in Guyana, while some have ventured abroad, creating a bridge between our homeland and the wider world.
