Hello! I’m Errol Connelly, a proud resident of La Bagatelle on Leguan Island in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My roots run deep in this beautiful land, where the lush greenery meets the flowing waters of the Pomeroon River. Growing up here has instilled in me a profound appreciation for our rich cultural heritage, from the vibrant festivals that bring our communities together to the mouthwatering dishes that reflect our diverse backgrounds—like a good plate of dhalpuri roti, a favorite in many households.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish the connections we maintain with our friends and family abroad. I often share stories of our scenic landmarks, such as the historic Fort Zeelandia and the untouched beauty of the Iwokrama Rainforest, with those who have moved far from home.
