Growing up amidst the rich cultural heritage of Guyana, I've been deeply influenced by the vibrant tapestry of our six nations. My work reflects the colorful spirit of our community, where every stitch carries a story, much like the diverse flavors of our beloved Guyanese cuisine. From pepperpot to metemgee, I find inspiration in the food that brings us together, just as I hope my creations do.
My journey as a seamstress began in the bustling villages along the Upper Pomeroon River, an area known for its strong sense of community and shared traditions.
