Hello! I’m Harvey James, a proud miner based in the beautiful River Waipauqa Wakapau, nestled in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery of the jungle and the vibrant culture of our people, I’ve always felt a deep connection to the land and its resources. The spirit of our community is enriched with traditions that celebrate our diverse heritage, from the flavorful culinary delights like pepperpot and metemgee to the rhythmic beats of our local music that resonate during family gatherings and festivals.
