Hello! My name is Leon Henry, and Iām proud to call Manawarin in the Barima-Waini region of Guyana my home. As a miner, I work hard in the rich lands of our beautiful country, where the essence of our culture and the spirit of our people shine bright. My days are often spent beneath the lush canopies of the rainforests, surrounded by the sounds of nature and the camaraderie of fellow miners who share my passion for the land.

Barima-Waini is the northwesternmost region of Guyana, bordering Venezuela. Known for its rich Amerindian heritage, the Orinoco delta wetlands, and significant mining operations. Population center is Mabaruma.
