Hello! I’m Alonzo John, a proud miner from the vibrant community of Kairako in the Barima-Waini region of beautiful Guyana. Living in this part of the country allows me to be surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich biodiversity that make our homeland so unique. When I’m not working in the mines, you can find me exploring the nearby rainforest trails or enjoying the breathtaking views at the majestic Kaieteur Falls, a true gem of our country. I take pride in sharing our local culture, especially the mouthwatering dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice that bring people together.
